This time of year is all about getting back-to-routine. As the remnants of summer begin fading away we’re all eager to transition our look while also making mornings a little easier on ourselves. EcoTools Beauty Team experts Teni Panosian and Christine Symonds have the perfect, quick looks to help you do just that.

THE 5-MINUTE FACE

Time is rarely on our side in the mornings, which is why a quick, polished makeup routine is a must. With the EcoTools Six-Piece Starter Set and just 5 minutes (or less!) you can perfect that effortless, put-together look even if you did hit the snooze button.

Step 1. Using the EcoTools Stippling Brush, apply your favorite liquid, powder or cream foundation. Starting in the center of the face, dab in a “stippling” motion then buff outwards into the skin.

Step 2. Next, grab the concealer brush from your Six-Piece Starter Set. Apply concealer on any blemishes and under your eyes and into the inner corners of your eyes, eliminating any traces of darkness or redness.

Step 3. Taking the blush brush from the set, generously apply a neutral blush color to your cheeks.

Step 4. Moving on to the eyes – take your favorite mascara and apply two coats to your top and bottom lashes. A good coat of mascara is a simple, quick way to make your eyes pop.

Step 5. Going back to the Six-Piece Starter Set, take out the brow groomer and brush through your brows, preparing to fill them in.

Step 6. Using the angled eyeliner brush from the set, dip into a brow powder and fill in your brows, following their natural shape but making them slightly fuller.

Step 7. Finally, apply a sheer berry lipstick to complement this fresh back-to-routine look.

THE MESSY TWISTED PONY

Let’s face it, most hairstyles require the kind of time and patience that we rarely have in the mornings. But this Messy Twisted Pony is quick, easy and gorgeous for any hair type, any day of the week.

Step 1. Blow dry hair using the Ultimate Air Dryer brush. The unique design dries hair 40% faster for a quicker prep time and less overall heat damage. (Watch the full tutorial on how to use this hair brush Ultimate Air Dryer Tutorial.)

Step 2. Using the Ultimate Air Dryer once again, lightly back-comb a 3-4 inch section of hair at the crown (top) of the head.

Step 3. Create a part down the side of your head in front of your ear. (Choose the side that has more hair, depending on where your natural top part lies.)

Step 4. Leaving that newly created section out and forward, gather the rest of your hair at the back of the head into a ponytail. When you’ve achieved the desired height, secure it with a hair bungee.

Step 5. Spray the front section with your favorite texture spray. This will give it grip and hold for when you twist it back later. For some extra volume, spray the same texture spray at the root of the ponytail.

Step 6. Grab the front side section and twist it back, then wrap that section around the bungee. Secure the ends with a few bobby pins and loosen the twisted section for a messier, playful look.

Step 7. Spray all over with a light-hold hairspray to keep this look in perfectly in place all day long.
